Sulphaterm

Sulphaterm is the first therapeutic thermal mud available in pharmacies that represents significant innovation in the treatment of dermatological conditions, and psoriasis in particular.

Composition

Therapeutic thermal mud made from natural elements:

• Sulphur-rich healing mineral water from the Caldes de Boí “Font de la Tartera” spring.
• Sulphurous water.
• Clay.
• Liquid component 85%:
  • Sulphur-rich healing mineral water: Rich in minerals: S, Mg, Si, Ca, among others. The most important one, sulphur (S), features multiple properties: keratolytic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, healing and antibacterial.
• Solid component 15%:
  • Sulphurous water: It provides lipids and proteins that are essential to repairing skin and keeping it hydrated.
  • Clay: It is used to obtain the mud. It has a soft, unctuous texture. It offers a pleasant sensation against the skin.

Indications

Treatment for dermatological conditions:

• Mild/moderate and localised psoriasis plaques (inverse psoriasis, psoriasis of the scalp, psoriasis of the nails, palmoplantar psoriasis).
• Seborrhoeic dermatitis.
• Atopic dermatitis.
• Acne (papule, pustule).
• Post-surgical scars.
• Healed burns.

Effect

It acts as a co-adjuvant to any topical, systemic, biological or photo therapy treatment.
